THE COMMISSION PROJECT

The Commission Project is not about a building; it is about building people who carry the gospel further than we can today.

  • Our new 500-seat auditorium is crucial for expanding our outreach and hospitality. This dedicated, purpose-built space will allow us to welcome significantly more people into life-changing worship gatherings simultaneously. More capacity means more room for those seeking new life in Christ to hear the Gospel, experience authentic community, and encounter God in corporate worship. This expansion ensures that as Riverstone grows, our doors remain open and welcoming to every new face in our community.

  • The complete remodeling of our current facility into a specialized area for RS Kids and RS Students is a foundational step in building the church of tomorrow. This dedicated space—safe, engaging, and age-appropriate—allows us to pour into the next generation with intention. We know that raising young disciples is paramount to our future. As the Psalmist writes, "We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD" (Psalm 78:4). This investment ensures that every child and student at Riverstone has the best environment to know Jesus and grow in faith.

  • The new classrooms and multi-purpose areas are designed to help us fulfill the Great Commission mandate: "Go therefore and make disciples..." (Matthew 28:19). These dedicated spaces will be the engine room for deeper spiritual growth—hosting adult classes, foundational discipleship courses, and numerous Life Groups throughout the week. By providing abundant, flexible space, we are strategically positioned to move people beyond Sunday services into genuine community and intentional spiritual formation, actively accomplishing our vision to be a church that makes disciples.
